For those who cannot speak Japanese
All explanations, physical examinations, written tests, and practical tests will be conducted in English.Class 1 and Class 2 exams are held in Osaka, while PWC exams are held in Otsu several times a year.

For those who can understand a little Japanese conversation
The written exam will be conducted entirely in English. Since you will be taking the exam alongside Japanese students, you can choose from a wide range of test centers and dates.

First Class – All examinations will be conducted in English.
For those who cannot speak Japanese

All components of the examination—explanation, physical examination, written examination, and practical examination—will be conducted in English.
It is held five times a year on fixed dates in Osaka.
You may choose the classroom for the theory course, but the practical training will be conducted at the Osaka test center.
Theory lectures will be conducted by foreign instructors.

1.Regular(General Subjects / Advanced Subjects / Practical Skills)

After completing two days of theoretical training and one day of practical training, you will take the national examination, which is conducted entirely in English.

2.Advanced Subjects & Practical

General subjects are self-study. After one day of theoretical training covering only advanced subjects, one day of practical training is conducted. Upon completing this training, candidates take the national exam, which is conducted entirely in English. 3.Practical Only

After completing all theoretical study and one day of practical training, you will take the national exam. This exam is conducted entirely in English.

This is for those who can handle simple conversations in Japanese.
The written exam will be conducted in English only.
Since you take the national exam alongside Japanese students, you can choose from many options for the training venue, exam venue, and schedule.

After completing a two-day theoretical course in English and attending practical training alongside Japanese students, you will take the national exam. Only the written portion of that national exam is conducted in English.

2.Advanced Subjects & Practical

Candidates study general subjects independently, attend one day of advanced theoretical lectures in English, participate in practical training alongside Japanese students, and then take the national examination. Only the written portion of this national examination is conducted in English.

3.Practical Only

After self-studying all theory and participating in practical training sessions alongside Japanese students, candidates take the national examination. The national examination consists solely of a written test conducted in English.

Upgrade Class 2 license to a Class 1 license.

Take the written exam consisting of 14 questions.Only theory lectures and written exams.
